A few years ago, a former colleague sent me some sites to start a Blog. Since then, countless others have suggested I start one. And so, today, the 1st of September, I finally did. It’s fitting that I am starting this Blog in Texas where I was supposedly conceived in Corpus Christi during my father’s flight school training. Life is truly full circle. After over 20+ years in Los Angeles, I now reside in Sugar Land which seems to be the perfect place to tell my story, heal, start a new life chapter and raise my 9 year old son. (those posts will follow)
When one sees all the content in the social media world and the myriad of words and images, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Where do I start? How do I even begin? Do I really have something to say? My advice: just start. Anywhere.
The latter question is easier to answer. As a Mom in her 40s now, “Why yes, I have something to say.” Which is the complete opposite of “always having to say something” which I give the award to Twitter and those who live on that site 24/7.
I do have something to say. And I will say it. I won’t promise constant entertainment, fluffy compliments, certainly no sexy selfies, nor a saccharine people-pleasing tone, but I can promise truth, depth and a certain salty but sensitive grit to my humor. (so I’ve been told)
As of today, my first apology is this: “I didn’t tell the truth sooner”.
Happy to be aboard the Blog train. Did I mention train whistles from my backyard everyday? Perfect for a writer.

I have no knowledge of coding but I was hoping to start mmy own blog soon. Anyway,
should you have any suggestions or tips for new blog owners please share.
I understand this is off subject but I just needed to ask. Thanks!
