Many of you know that my Dad is very ill and thus, I’ve been more MIA than usual from regular posts and social media.
After my last two visits, I’ve been so overcome with memories, thoughts and emotions. On the plane, I’ve had to channel this compulsion mixed with grief in the form of writing it all down — and I’ve made a commitment to my father that I would. When I told him, “Dad, I’m going to write about all of our adventures and memories so we never forget”. He replied within labored breathing, “That sounds great. Please do.”
