I woke up to find a notification of a new Follower of my Blog. I must say, even 1 more gets me excited. Especially since I haven’t posted in weeks. We have been ill and my eyes needed to rest.
It’s intimidating to write these days. There is so much content out there. So much good. So much self-indulgent drivel. A lot of it flowing from high intellects, other mere rants. But entertaining nonetheless.
I often get paralyzed with the thoughts that how could my thoughts, opinions, and experiences even matter or make a difference.
The pressure to write large amounts of content is also daunting. 800-1000 words or more can seem like a lot.
Perhaps a better format may be short quips, copy, quotes, something fun and frivolous but maybe profound at times. I don’t really know.
All I know is that I became an emotional clogged drain when I don’t write.
I’ve been told I need to write down these ‘Covid stories’, stories and observations of quarantined life and all the nuttiness surrounding it.
So here are a few:
You know it’s 2020 when your biggest form of entertainment now comes from reading the Comments on the Citizen app. (seriously, try it)
You know the city is losing its mind when a naked person lies down in the middle of a busy street and takes a nap.
You know it’s 2020 when your Amazon Prime account is your new bar and going out tab.
That’s a start. See you soon.
