Sometimes I feel like a cat with 9 lives and have only 3 left; other times I feel like the Phoenix rising from the ashes – yet again.
You don’t owe anyone an explanation for your decisions when you’re listening to your conscience.
Truth heals and denial creates more darkness in a situation.
I have enough education to hold my own in most circles, but not too much to seem like a pompous ass.
Rude adults were most likely ill-mannered kids.
Not everyone will see your light or appreciate you, keep opening and closing doors. You will do this your entire life.
Failure shows a person wasn’t afraid of risk.
Character:
Build character before battle. You can’t ‘conjure’ it during the trenches of life.
In my 20s and 30s, I used to listen to what people say, now I watch what they do.
Behavior always reveals character.
Never underestimate a woman, or an ex-athlete.
Never try to manipulate or orchestrate a situation unless you want to keep turning that key the rest of your life.
The first 12 years of a kid’s life are like burning a CD. After that, they will play back to you what you put on it.
Not all artists make money. In fact, 99% do not.
Being an artist is a daily walk and way of life.
In a world of quick cheap words, commitment and consistency are everything.
