Countdown to graduation…

Dear Ravi,

Although in my mind’s eye, I still see you as that slightly cherub ruddy faced toddler smiling and laughing most of the day, I know you are a man now. You have a beard and are 6’3”!

Forgive your Mom for sometimes still treating you like a little boy. But God knows, these were the happiest times for my heart. It’s not been easy, but it’s been an incredible privilege to be your Mom.

Remember:

Pursue your passion, but keep God first. Always be thankful for your gifts and talents.

Keep your friends. We need friends our entire life — however long that may be.

Keep up your chivalrous ways: hold doors, pull out seats, put a grocery cart back for an elder, help all people. The world is too full of rude, ill-mannered people.

No matter how hard life gets, always keep your sense of humour.

A good cry once in awhile is healthy.

And remember, wherever you roam, home is where your heart is.

Love,

Mom
